Paper Submission Deadline has passed. Invited speakers may contact: Ingrid Donnelly at email@example.com.
Post-Deadline Paper Submission Deadline: 9:00AM, Monday 13 October 2014
The purpose of post-deadline papers is to give participants the opportunity to hear new and significant material in rapidly advancing areas. Only those papers judged to be truly excellent and compelling in their timeliness will be accepted.
Authors of post-deadline papers must submit the original paper and 20 copies to the IEEE Photonics Society Speaker Check-In Desk by 9:00AM on Monday, 13 October 2014.
The two-page abstract should be submitted on 8.5" x 11" white bond paper, typed single space on one side with one-inch margins on all four sides. Charts, illustrations and figures must fit within the two-page paper specification.
Accepted papers will be posted by 9:00AM on Wednesday, 15 October 2014.
The 2-Page Summary will be published in the IEEE Xplore, if accepted. Authors of accepted postdeadline papers should be prepared to email an electronic copy of their 2-page summary, directly to Tracy Holle (firstname.lastname@example.org) at the IEEE Photonics Society prior to the conference end.
The post-deadline session will take place on Thursday, 16 October 2014 during the Closing Ceremony from 10:30am-12:00pm
Paper Submission Deadline: closed; Invited speakers can contact Ingrid Donnelly, email@example.com
Only PDF files will be accepted.
Authors submitting papers to the IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC) 2014 taking place in La Jolla (San Diego area), California are required to submit a 35-word abstract and a 2 page-limit summary, along with the completed online submission form via the Photonics Society online paper collection website beginning 14 March 2014 and no later than 15 May 2014. Authors will be notified by mid-July regarding the status of their paper by email. Notifications are sent only to the corresponding author.
A copyright agreement form must be completed as part of the submission process. You will be able to submit your Copyright form electronically at the end of the submission process. You can still opt to send a signed copyright agreement form, but it MUST be mailed to the IEEE/Photonics Society office within 72 hours of paper submission. Write the corresponding author's last name in the upper left hand corner of the form and put the online submission assigned paper ID number in the upper right hand corner.
Technical papers received outside the electronic submission site will not be accepted. Revisions will only be accepted up until the paper submission deadline.
Electronic Submission: Authors are asked to provide vital pieces of information, including, but not limited to the paper title, presentation type, and a 35-word abstract, as well as all authors' contact information. This information must be completed in its entirety; failure to do so may inhibit your ability to successfully complete your submission.
Please use the following format when submitting your paper:
The two-page paper should be typed single space with one-inch margins on all four sides. Charts, illustrations and figures must fit within the two-page paper specification.
The 35-word Abstract will be used for publication in the Advance Program. Over length abstracts will not be accepted and will affect your ability to successfully submit your work.
The 2 Page Summary will be published in the Conference Proceedings if accepted. It must be submitted as a PDF file. Please see the link below for detailed submitting information.
Important Information about Preparing your Paper: The Proceedings for this conference will be published in IEEE Xplore®, therefore the quality of your PDF file is important. The IEEE is dedicated to the worldwide distribution of conference papers to engineering professionals. This requires that all papers submitted for publication must meet a minimum standard for both print and electronic publishing.
Authors submitting to the IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC) 2014 will have access to IEEE PDF eXpress™ to assist them in preparing suitable PDF files. IEEE PDF eXpress™ is a free online service that will convert your source file to PDF from a number of different publishing platforms, or verify that the PDF you created meets the IEEE Xplore® specifications.
IEEE PDF eXpress™ is not a file submission system and does not capture files.
Authors will still need to submit their verified file to the IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC) 2014 submission site.
